Who publishes Examen Civique Blanc

Examen Civique Blanc is published by Radif Partners, a company that builds free tools from public texts and data. It is written for foreign nationals living in France who must pass the civic exam for a multi-year residence permit, a resident card or naturalisation, and for the people who help them: charities, trainers, volunteers. This English version is for expatriates who want to understand the rules before practising in French.

What the site does

It offers a 40-question mock exam drawn with the mix set by the order of 10 October 2025, timed at 45 minutes and marked at 32 correct answers; practice by theme with instant answers; and the official question lists with explained answers. It also works out when you can apply for naturalisation, nationality through marriage or a resident card, says which exam and French level apply to each permit, and adds up the cost.

Everything is free, with no account and no email, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

Where the questions come from

The 366 knowledge question stems come from the lists published by the French Interior Ministry on formation-civique.interieur.gouv.fr, reusable under the Licence Ouverte 2.0 with attribution, and are translated by us here. The ministry publishes neither answer options nor scenario questions: the four options of each question, the explanations and the 68 scenarios are ours, written from the ministry guidance sheets and the texts on Légifrance. No question is taken from a private site or app.

What we are not

We are not the Interior Ministry, a préfecture, an exam centre or a lawyer. We book no session, take no application, issue no certificate, and our answers are not the official wording. The site uses no Marianne and no official logo.

How the site is funded

The site sells no course, book, app or application service, takes no commission and sends you to no company that does. If advertising is ever added, it will never sit above an exam.
